Academic Achievements
  • Published over 60 academic papers as first or corresponding author in well-known international journals and conferences such as IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, IEEE TIP, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TASLP, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ACL, AAAI, IJCAI, ACM MM, EMNLP. Led and participated in more than 10 related longitudinal research projects, including 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, 1 China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project, 1 Suzhou Industrial Technology Innovation Special Project - Forward-looking Applied Research Project, and 2 Central Universities Basic Scientific Research Business Fee Special Fund Projects. The proposed text detection and recognition methods have achieved the best performance on multiple public datasets. Collaborated with JD Exploration Institute to train large-scale language models Vega V1 (with 1.5 billion parameters) and Vega V2 (with 6 billion parameters), successively ranking first in the top international natural language understanding tasks GLUE and SuperGLUE. Trained multiple 7B and 14B scale medical language and multimodal large models, among which the 14B medical language model ranked second on the authoritative Chinese medical large model evaluation platform MedBench, and the 7B medical language model ranked fifth with the least parameter scale (as of September 2024).
