Background
Research interests include intelligent video compression (particularly deep learning-based video coding), developing effective and fundamental methods for video coding and processing, exploring the intersection between data-trained models and emerging technology in image/video codecs, building practical systems including video encoding/decoding, delivery/streaming, and processing, and energy-efficient visual information interaction systems.
