Research Experience
Involved in several software projects at ANL, including Mochi (software-defined storage), ROMIO (a portable MPI-IO implementation), and Parallel-NetCDF (a parallel implementation of the NetCDF file format).
Organized the IASDS 2011 workshop.
Organized the IASDS 2010 workshop, which was part of the Cluster 2010 conference held in Crete.
Occasionally guest lectures on computer architecture at the University of Chicago.
Frequently gives presentations and tutorials on parallel I/O at international conferences such as SC, SciDAC, and CCGrid.
