Research Experience
Joined Toyohashi University of Technology as a research assistant in April 2005 and was part of the Discrete Optimization Laboratory led by Prof. Toshihiro Fujito; promoted to Assistant Professor in April 2007; moved to Tokyo Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor in December 2007; became a Research Associate Professor at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in October 2010; since April 2012, has been with the Department of Communication Engineering and Informatics, Graduate School of Informatics and Engineering, The University of Electro-Communications (renamed to Department of Computer and Network Engineering in April 2016); promoted to Professor in April 2017.
Education
Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Systems Science from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1999 and 2001, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Masataka Nakamura; PhD from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Emo Welzl.
