Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • Co-authored the book 'Statistical Analysis of Networks' with Konstantin Avrachenkov and has published papers in various academic conferences such as NeurIPS and COLT. His recent paper 'When Does Bottom-Up Beat Top-Down in Hierarchical Community Detection?' has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA).
Research Experience
  • Currently an Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences) in Statistics at Université Gustave-Eiffel and a member of LAMA (Laboratoire d’analyse et de mathématiques appliquées). Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL's INDY Lab, supervised by Patrick Thiran and Matthias Grossglauser.
Education
  • Obtained his PhD in Computer Science in 2022 from Inria Sophia Antipolis, supervised by Konstantin Avrachenkov.
Background
  • Research interests include developing innovative algorithms and understanding the theoretical limits of identifying meaningful patterns and structures within large datasets. He is particularly interested in network analysis, community detection, and clustering. He also works on graph sparsification.
Miscellany
  • He has written a French book titled 'Leçons pour l’agrégation de mathématiques - Préparation à l’oral' for those preparing for the Agrégation de Mathématiques.
