Research Experience
- I am affiliated with Harvard University and Motional AD.
Background
- I am a computational cognitive neuroscientist and robotics researcher working on human and machine decision making. In one line of research, I study how the brain learns mental models of the world (referred to as world models in AI) in order to plan and make decisions in complex, naturalistic environments, such as video games. In another line of research, I apply insights from this work to developing robots with similar abilities, such as self-driving cars.
