Education
PhD in Robotics (2017-2021) from University of Twente, Netherlands; MSc in Automation Engineering (2014-2017) from Università di Bologna, Italy; BSc in Automation Engineering (2011-2014) from Università di Bologna, Italy.
Background
Nicolò Botteghi is a researcher at the Modeling and Scientific Computing Laboratory (MOX) at the Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on developing data-efficient machine learning approaches for control, state estimation, and uncovering governing equations of dynamical systems. He is particularly interested in robotics and fluid-dynamics applications where it is possible to exploit prior knowledge and symmetries of the problems to reduce the amount of data.
Miscellany
Personal interests include completing 7 IRONMAN 70.3 races.
