Recipient of multiple awards, such as the China Computer Excellent Teacher Award in 2019, 1st Prize of Technological Invention of China Computer Federation (Ranking 2) in 2022, 1st Prize of Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress (Ranking 2) in 2010, etc. Published selected journal papers in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
Research Experience
Served as PI or Co-PI in several national key R&D programs, including projects on differentiable simulation engines, task-oriented eye behavior prediction in mixed reality, visual effects based on dynamics, intelligent 3D reconstruction, and more.
Education
Received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS).
Background
Research interests include virtual reality/augmented reality, computer graphics, real-time rendering, realistic rendering, physical simulation and animation, visual and auditory perception in VR. Currently a Professor at the School of Computer Sciences, Peking University, serving as the vice director of the Graphics and Interaction Lab. Published over 50 refereed papers in prestigious international conferences and journals, applied for 50 Chinese/USA patents, with 28 authorized. Member of ACM and IEEE, member of Technical Committee Virtual Reality and Visualization Technology, CCF, and member of Technical Committee Computer Graphics and CAD, CCF, China.

Overseas experience includes collaboration with Prof. Hanqiu Sun at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from July to August 2013, and with Prof. Dinesh Manocha at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, from December 2016 to December 2017.
